
Classic Chicken Take Out Burger with Not-so-secret special sauce

Tegel Take Outs Louisiana Style Chicken Burgers 600g
Ingredients
For the burgers
- 4 burger buns
- 4 Tegel Take Outs Louisiana Style Chicken Tenders 500g
- ½ cup crinkle cut gherkin
- 2 cups slaw
- 4 slices cheese
For the special sauce
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tsp gherkin juice
- 1 cup grated red onion
- ½ tsp chilli flakes
- ½ tsp salt
Method
1. Place all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mix to combine.
2. Cook the Louisiana Burgers as per packet instructions.
3. Lightly butter the buns and toast until lightly golden.
4. To assemble, spread a spoonful of sauce on the bottom of each bun, top with the Louisiana Burger, a slice of cheese, a handful of slaw and a few pickles. Spread the remaining sauce on the top of the buns and place on top. Serve immediately.
