
Hawaiian Chicken Burger

Tegel Take Outs Louisiana Style Chicken Burgers 600g
Ingredients
- 4 Tegel Take Outs Louisiana Burgers
- 4 fresh pineapple rings
- 4 brioche burger buns
- 8 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
- 1 red onion, sliced in rings (try pickling your onion for extra zing!)
Method
- Cook the Louisiana Burgers as per packet instructions.
- Grill pineapple over a medium high heat for 4 minutes each side, until the pineapple has started to caramelise.
- Lightly butter the buns and toast until lightly golden.
- To assemble, spread a tablespoon of mayo on each bun base, top with the Louisiana Burger, a grilled pineapple ring, a handful of lettuce and a few red onion rings. Spread the remaining mayo on the top of the buns and place on top. Serve immediately.
