
Sweet & Spicy Donut Burger

Tegel Take Outs Louisiana Style Chicken Burgers 600g
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup liquid honey
- 1–2 tabkespoons hot sauce
- 4 glazed donuts
- 8 Tegel Take Outs Louisiana Chicken Burgers
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- ½ cup crinkle cut pickle slices
- 1/3 cup pink pickles onions
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
Method
- Place the honey and hot sauce in a bowl and whisk together.
- Cook the Louisiana Chicken Burgers in the oven or air fryer as per packet instructions.
- When the burgers are straight out of the oven, drizzle over the hot honey and toss to coat.
- Cut the donuts in half like burger buns. Place on a baking tray, cut side up in the oven, under the grill to lightly toast.
- To assemble, place a slice of cheese on the bottom donut, top with a hot honey Louisiana Burger, a handful of pickles and some pickled onions. Top with another Louisiana Burger, an extra slice of cheese and some more pickles and pickled onions. Spread a generous spoonful of mayo on the top donut, and sandwich together. Tuck in!
